Guam Radiology Consultants is the largest and most advanced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology center in the Western Pacific. We operate during regular clinic hours from: 8AM – 6PM, Monday to Friday and 8AM - 1PM, Saturdays.

Job Description: Maintains the IT Department in accordance with GRC Policies & Guidelines. Ensures IT Operations are in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable statues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)

  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality

  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications

  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance

  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems

  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment

  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work

  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)

  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders

SKILLS:

  • Must be proficient managing medical imaging within a DICOM environment utilizing a sophisticated RIS / PACS. LAN\WAN Expertise.

  • Should be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Must be familiar with all equipment, software and processes needed to complete duties.

  • 100% functionality and security of all databases/applications/servers at all times

  • Organized Records/Logs, Regularly Occurring IT Updates

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or Foreign Equivalent) in IT or related fields

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a computer systems analyst, IT analyst, computer engineering or any suitable combination of education, training and/or specific experience with Medical IT

SCHEDULE:

  • 8-hour Shift; 40 hours per week

  • Day Shift

  • Monday to Saturday


Work Week: Monday-Friday (7:00AM-4:00PM, 8:00AM-5:00PM or 9:00AM-6:00PM); Emergency work hours occasionally needed to satisfactorily complete job duties.

Weekend Work Required: Flexibility to work every other Saturday (7:00AM-12:00PM or 8:00AM-1:00PM)

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a computer systems analyst, IT analyst, computer engineering or any suitable combination of education, training and/or specific experience with Medical IT preferred
