Guam Radiology Consultants is the largest and most advanced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology center in the Western Pacific. We service all the major hospitals in our region and operate during regular clinic hours from: 8AM – 6PM, Monday to Friday and 8AM – 1PM on Saturday.

Position Description

Guam Radiology Consultants is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our practice in the US Territory of Guam as an X-Ray & BMD Tech. The X-Ray & BMD Tech participates with the imaging center team to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of tasks to support the technologist, patient workflow and perform X-Ray & BMD Tech exams.


BASIC PURPOSE: The X-Ray/BMD Technician operates x-ray equipment to perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of injuries and diseases. Cross-train and assist in other areas of the clinic as operational needs require.


Responsibilities and Duties

Daily Functions

  • Administer diagnostic x-ray procedures and BMD examinations.

  • Maintain all company standards including quality of work and results, test procedure and methodology, turn-around time, confidentiality of test results; provide assistance or training to x-ray as required.

  • Demonstrate knowledge on company procedures and standards; including procedures relating to the performance and documentation of examinations, turn-around time, and equipment.

  • Ensure personal development through training courses and/or training appropriately to upgrade technical skills, abilities, and knowledge.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned and ability to work in various shifts.

  • Maintain clean workspace in the Examination room. Protects and Safeguards GRC Assets.

  • Assists GRC staff with Patient File questions as they occur.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study.

  • State X-Ray License and current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists -ARRT preffered

  • Current certification in Basic Life Saving (BLS).

  • Experience: 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.

  • X-Ray: 2 years preferred
