AAA Screening

The Guam Radiology Consultants' AAA Screening Program is a one-time exam for men between the ages of 65 to 75 who have a history of smoking. The screening is designed to detect an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) which is an enlargement of the aorta, the main blood vessel that supplies blood to the body. This free screening is an ultrasound exam that takes only a few minutes and can detect an AAA before any symptoms occur. Through this screening program, we hope to improve the health outcomes of older men.
