The Pain Management Center at Guam Radiology Consultants provides advanced pain management treatment and evaluation to a variety of adult patients and assists them in restoring optimal physical function in order to improve their quality of life. Our pain management services operate during regular clinic hours: 8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday. There is no call or weekend work required. You will be supported by a full team of U.S. board-certified physicians providing advanced imaging and interventional pain procedures. JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner – Pain Management
CLASSIFICATION: Permanent Employee
JOB SUMMARY:
Practice pain medicine within the scope of license, training and credentialing and in accordance with the current standards of care. The Nurse Practitioner will work with our team of Pain Management Physicians to evaluate & develop treatment plans for patients suffering from acute and/or chronic pain.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Examine and evaluate patients in an out-patient setting
Determine and order appropriate diagnostic radiology exams
Determine and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients
Prescribe therapy or medication
Coordinate treatments with our team of medical professionals in order to optimize patient care
Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients, and change treatment plans, as necessary
Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care
The NP will not be responsible for opioid maintenance
EXPERIENCE & SPECIFICATION:
Experience: Additional training and/or experience in pain management preferred.
Skills and Abilities: A desire to work in pain management and to grow your experience and knowledge. An excellent communicator with patients and support staff. Must have a strong desire to work in a team-based environment and a willingness to learn from and teach colleagues.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner focused graduate Master or Doctoral Nursing Program
National board certification to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
Additional training in pain management or experience preferred.
