Successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Additional training in pain management or experience preferred.

The Pain Management Center at Guam Radiology Consultants provides advanced pain management treatment and evaluation to a variety of adult patients and assists them in restoring optimal physical function in order to improve their quality of life. Our Pain Management Services operate during regular clinic hours from: 8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday. There is no call or weekend work required. You will be supported by a full team of U.S. board certified physicians providing imaging and interventional pain procedures. We all get along well and strive for an excellent work-life balance. JOB TITLE: Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Pain Management
CLASSIFICATION: Permanent Employee
JOB SUMMARY:
Practice pain medicine within the scope of license, training and credentialing and in accordance with the current standards of care. The Physician Assistant will work with our team of Pain Management Physicians to evaluate & develop treatment plans for patients suffering from acute and/or chronic pain.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Examines and evaluates patients in the out-patient setting.
Determines and orders appropriate diagnostic radiology exams.
Determines and implements appropriate treatment plans for patients.
Prescribes therapy or medication.
Coordinates treatments with our team of medical professionals in order to optimize patient care.
Monitors ongoing progress and health of patients, and changes treatment plans, as necessary.
Provides support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
The PA will not be responsible for Opioid maintenance.
EXPERIENCE & SPECIFICATION:
Experience: Additional training and/or experience in pain management preferred.
Skills and Abilities: A desire to work in pain management and to grow your experience and knowledge. An excellent communicator with patients and support staff. Must have a strong desire to work in a team-based environment and a willingness to learn from and teach colleagues.
SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with experience. Position is full time with benefits.
