Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE: The X-Ray Technician operates x-ray equipment to perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of injuries and diseases. Cross-train and assist in other areas of the clinic as operational needs require.
Responsibilities and Duties
Daily Functions
Administer diagnostic x-ray procedures and examinations.
Maintain all company standards including quality of work and results, test procedure and methodology, turn-around time, confidentiality of test results; provide assistance or training to x-ray as required.
Demonstrate knowledge on company procedures and standards; including procedures relating to the performance and documentation of examinations, turn-around time, and equipment.
Ensure personal development through training courses and/or training appropriately to upgrade technical skills, abilities, and knowledge.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned and ability to work in various shifts.
Maintain clean workspace in the Examination room. Protects and Safeguards GRC Assets.
Assists GRC staff with Patient File questions as they occur.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Position Requirements
Education: Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study.
State X-ray license and current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists -ARRT preffered
Current certification in Basic Life Saving (BLS).
Experience: 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Requirements
EDUCATION:
Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study.
State X-Ray license and current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT preffered.
